Shane' Juel Rhymer Unto us a daughter was born and she was blessed with grace, beauty, respect, love and intelligence. Laurel Freeman and Cordell Rhymer Jr., welcomed their firstborn child, Shane’ Juel Rhymer after much anticipation at the Roy L Schneider Hospital in St.Thomas, US Virgin Islands on October 22nd, 1992. Shane’ was nurtured with the involvement of maternal and paternal family, while at her early residence at Estate Wintberg, St. Thomas US Virgin Islands. Zion Academy in Estate Lindberg, St.Thomas was the educational foundation of Shane’s future academic success. She graduated salutatorian of her kindergarten class in 1997/1998. As a result of her parent’s relocation, Shane’ was subsequently admitted as a class two student at the St.Georges Primary School, in Tortola BVI in 2000. She graduated with high honors from St.Georges Primary in 2004. Shane’ then attended the All Saints Cathedral School in St.Thomas US Virgin Islands for the academic school year of 2005/2006. She later transferred to the St.Georges Secondary School commencing in Form two. As a member of the St.Georges Secondary School family, Shane’ has been actively involved in the schools spelling bee, debate club, track and field team, assistant coordinator of the Mr. and Ms. St.Georges in 2008. Shane’ was also named champion girl of the St.Georges Secondary School in 2006. Shane’ is currently a fifth form student at the St. Georges Secondary School where she completed and earned a Grade One achievement in CXC English exam in Fourth Form. As an active and involved Community Member willing to put service above self, Shane is an active Interact Member since 2006. She currently holds the position of Public Relations Officer. The Interact Club is a subsidiary of the Rotary Club of Tortola. With her continued efforts to provide service, Shane has chosen female empowerment with an emphasis on improving and enhancing one’s self esteem as her platform for the upcoming Miss Teen British Virgin Islands 2009 Contest. Shane’ is the firm belief that a young lady’s self-esteem is the core and key ingredient about herself. Without positive self-esteem it is difficult to attain success, surpass obstacles and move forward in one’s life. With the experience of the contest and ultimate achievement of Ms Teen British Virgin Isalnds 2009 Shane intends to take her message of female empowerment to all young persons in the territory, particularly young females. Upon graduation Shane will initially attend the Hamilton Lavity Stoutt Community College majoring in Accounting and eventually pursue her dream of attending CPA Certification. Shane believes that with God nothing is impossible, for he is the strength that passe-th all understanding. ladies and Gentlemen, I welcome you to come and Let us celebrate our diverse heritage through pageantry; A fusion of intelligence, culture and talent.
